Darker and thicker than Lambrusco di Sorbara, Romeo is a typical Lambrusco wine of the hills near Modena, obtained from a selection of 100% Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro grapes.
Another wine which is completely pure. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet hues and an evanescent, complete froth.

The taste well structured taste, it is dry, fresh, supple, soft, with very pleasant lingering flavour and gentle tannins.

Its aroma is intense with hints of red fruits like cherries, currants and blackberries, slight floral notes of violets and vinosity.

Food pairings: It goes very well with the local Emilian cuisine, with lasagne, tagliatelle with meat sauce, tortellini, meat courses like roast rabbit or chicken, sausage with beans, baked pigeon with potatoes.
